About SpinYourWheel

A clean, fast, and unbiased online random wheel spinner created to make drawing names, picking winners, and making everyday choices simple and visual.

What is SpinYourWheel?

SpinYourWheel is a browser-based random name picker and decision-making wheel tool. Whether you need to pick a prize winner for a giveaway, select a student in a classroom, form random teams, or figure out what to eat for dinner, SpinYourWheel turns your list into a visually engaging spinning wheel.

Designed to work on any modern desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone without downloading software or creating accounts, it provides a instant decision tool whenever you need random selection.

What Problem It Solves

Manual drawing methods—like drawing paper slips from a hat or counting off numbers—take time, create clutter, and can feel predictable or biased.

SpinYourWheel replaces physical drawings with an automated, transparent visual experience that every participant can see and trust in real time.

How the Random Wheel Works

When you hit spin, the wheel calculates a target slice using client-side pseudo-random number generation (PRNG).

Every entry on the wheel receives an equal mathematical probability. The spinning physics and slowing curve provide visual anticipation while preserving outcome randomness.

Privacy Seekers

Use an online tool where your entered names stay in your local browser storage and are never uploaded to remote servers.

Privacy-Conscious Approach

Your wheel list data stays private. When you add names or entries to SpinYourWheel, they are stored directly inside your own web browser's localStorage.
We do not save your wheel text lists on server databases, nor do we require mandatory account creation or user registration to use any core features.
